What I love most — the automations:
I opted for the 0/month plan for cellular backup, which keeps the system running even if Wi-Fi goes down. The professional monitoring at 0/month felt like overkill — if I get notified on my phone, I can call police myself.
The equipment is solid, made with high-quality materials. Alexa integration works great too. Every week I discover new automations I can set up. This system has genuinely modernized my home and I feel much safer whether I'm home or away. Thanks Abode!

I really like this system. What makes it stand out are the automation features — I set up GE Z-Wave light switches and Hue bulbs to turn on if an alarm triggers, and I can control everything from anywhere with WiFi on my phone. I also added a Kwikset Z-Wave lock and a garage door opener that automatically locks and closes when set to Away mode. The door sensor even auto-locks when it detects the door closing — brilliant.
I integrated First Alert Z-Wave smoke and CO2 detectors too, which notify me instantly through the system. The hardware quality is excellent — solid, well-built materials throughout. I went with the $10/month plan for cellular backup, which is all you really need for peace of mind.
This system has truly modernized my home and I feel much safer both at home and when traveling. The Z-Wave compatibility opens up endless possibilities. Highly recommend!
