Our new video doorbell is a powerful, completely wireless doorbell and security camera in one, alerting users when motion is detected at their front entryway or if the doorbell has been pressed.
The Wireless Video Doorbell includes a number of dynamic features, including:
- Long battery life (up to 3+ months) and simple, wire-free installation process that can be completed in minutes.
- IP65-rated weatherproof housing and mounts directly and securely to the door via the included, lockable installation bracket.
- Get a real-time live view of your front-porch any time of day or night with 2-way audio communication and a tactile push-button to bring the traditional doorbell functionality and activate the system.
- Can be used without a monthly subscription (for a basic live view) but with a Standard “self-monitoring” plan, users can record any video capture to the cloud whether it uses “person detection” to monitor motion or if someone rings the actual doorbell.
- Beyond standard motion detection, the doorbell camera supports Abode Smart Detect, an advanced video performance specification which notifies users if a person is detected. Package and pet detection will also be supported in future updates.
- Full color night vision allows you to see clearly no matter how dark it is outside.
- The Abode Wireless Video Doorbell will quickly and easily synchronize with the companion Abode Chime to play an audio notification when the bell is “rung.” It also connects with Wi-Fi or Ethernet and can be used as a charging station for the doorbell.
- Beyond standard motion detection, the doorbell camera supports Abode Smart Detect, an advanced video performance specification which notifies users if a person is detected.
- Any doorbell cam users can utilize the live-view feature and two-way audio capabilities and our users who subscribe to the Standard Plan for $6/month can also receive alerts for both doorbell ring or motion-based triggers in the entryway.
