Yes, the Panic Button is battery-powered and communicates with the hub via radio frequency so it is completely wireless. With a range capable of communicating over 100 feet from your hub, you can place it almost anywhere you’d like around your home to deal with both security and medical emergencies.

The Panic Button uses 1 CR123 lithium battery which should last around 7 years under normal operating conditions. You will receive multiple notifications for low battery to prevent it from fully dying and the battery is easily replaced.
