Solid keypad that does exactly what it needs to do. Quick arm buttons for Home and Away modes work reliably. Backlit keys are a nice touch for nighttime. One minor gripe: there's no visual indicator on the keypad itself to show if the system is armed or disarmed — you need to buy the separate Status Indicator for that. But for the price, it's a great accessory. Battery powered, easy to mount, pairs instantly. I have it right next to my front door and use it multiple times daily. No issues after several months.

We're a military family and move every couple of years. The Keypad 2 is wireless and pops right off the wall mount, so it moves with us. No drilling, no damage to rental walls — just the adhesive strip. We have two keypads for our current place. The quick-arm buttons (Home/Away) are great for rushing out the door. My husband uses the keypad exclusively and I use the app — works perfectly either way. Responsive buttons, clear beeps, and the battery replacement is easy. Highly recommend for renters or anyone who moves frequently.

Essential add-on if you have family members who don't want to use the phone app. My wife prefers the keypad over the app and I get it — it's faster. Just walk in, punch your code, done. The entry/exit countdown beeps are loud enough to hear from the next room. Battery life has been excellent, going on 4 months with daily use and still showing full. Wall-mounted mine next to the front door at eye level. Build quality feels premium — not cheap plastic like some competitors. If you have the Abode system, get at least one keypad.

I have three Keypad 2 units in my home — one at the front door, one at the garage entry, and one in the master bedroom. The backlit buttons are perfect for entering codes in the dark when we come home late. Setup was instant — paired with the hub in seconds. The wall mount is solid and the battery lasts months. My kids (ages 8 and 12) can arm and disarm without needing phones, which was the whole reason I bought these. Way better than fumbling with the app when your hands are full of groceries. Only wish it had a status LED built in, but I added a System Status Indicator for that.
